## Keep your files

Hosted workspaces expire 24 hours after creation. Download links last up to ten minutes and stop working when the workspace expires or is deleted. Download both the image exports and the editable `.design.json` project before expiry.

Each workspace has a private access capability. Keep it private: losing it means losing access, and anyone holding it can use that workspace.

## Hosted designs and your browser

The MCP service processes separate temporary workspaces on Cloudflare. It cannot read or control an open editor’s local draft. Hosted tools use bundled assets and do not accept uploaded photos or arbitrary remote URLs. Open a downloaded project in the [browser editor](/app/) for personal uploads and local editing.

In browsers supporting WebMCP, agents can browse Artboar’s template catalog and open the editor with a chosen template. Opening a template uses the editor’s existing draft-replacement confirmation. These tools do not expose your local artwork.
